As we commemorate and remember the events that occurred on this day 11 years ago, it seems like that day continues to remain fresh in our minds. Some people were greatly affected more than others, while our country grieved for losses so great on American soil from this horrific occurrence.
Today, we pause as we watch the New York skyline display a different type of change. It’s not one of destruction, but a sign of hope, growth and healing.
Let’s take a moment to be grateful for the people and the freedom in our lives that bring us great joy. May we not take people or things for granted, because you never know when a split second incident could change your life forever.
