If you happen to be a poetry lover and if you are familiar with the Farmers Almanac, then there is something new on the market that brings a new application to the weather report. It is the Poet’s Almanac App. Yep, you read right.
The Poet’s Almanac bridges the divide between a humdrum weather report and a book of poetry. By using meteorological information and a customized library of poems, the application is able to provide poetry based on weather. All of the poems have been handpicked by the staff at Poetry East and graduate students, as well as faculty, at DePaul University have attributed to each a temperature and weather type.
The Poet’s Almanac is available FREE for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
