An insatiable zest for life
where influences spark vivid imaginations
bold, fearless, energetic and steadfast
childhood desires empowering adulthood achievements
what do you want to be when you grow up they asked
perhaps a doctor, nurse, fireman or astronaut
maybe a singer, artist, musician or famous athlete
big dreams skyrocketing to possibilities without boundaries
when we grow up, when I grow up
through the brave spirit glowing from a kid
I want to do more, in fact I gotta do more
paving a legacy of bigger dreams for the next child.
As children, we didn’t know how to dream small. We believed we had unlimited potential to achieve those dreams by the time we grew up. To dream the impossible? Nah! No matter what, even when someone said that you couldn’t do it, you still continued to dream…continued to imagine and continued to create.
As adults, did we fulfill those dreams we had as children? Sometimes we lose our sense of purpose and get sidetracked by adult distractions of discouragement. We become so enamored with our grownup issues that we veer from those dreams and aspirations we had as kids.
Regardless of where we are in our adult journey, we can still look back and embrace that fearlessness we had as a child. When I grow up I wanna be…well…I’m still working on that!

Oh my friend, I really don’t think I did anything. Paraphrasing what Glinda said to Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, “It was in you all along!” I just coached it a little to come out and when it did…oh boy…you started flowing like a volcano that just erupted!
