Celebrating Buwan ng Wika in the Philipines

Imagine dedicating an entire month to celebrating the art of language. Well, in the Philipines they do that annually. Throughout the month of August, National Language Month is celebrated in the Republic of the Philipines. The 2016 theme for this celebration is “Filipino: Wika ng Karunungan” or “Filipino: The Language of National Progress.”

Happy Buwan ng Wika!
