It never ceases to amaze me each time I hear the story about how many times Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen were initially rejected by publishers for their Chicken Soup for the Soul book. I listened to an interview Jack Canfield had with Oprah Winfrey when he stated that on top of those rejections they were even criticized for the title of the book. How crazy is that? I wonder if those same people who rejected the now internationally known book(s) still feel the same way today.
Recently I read a copy of Simply Happy by Amy Newmark, Chicken Soup for the Soul Editor-in-Chief. Oh my gosh, if you have not had the opportunity to read any of the books from the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, I highly recommend you start with this volume. Simply Happy contains a plethora of advice and wisdom that gives simple, doable suggestions for making your life, well, simply happy!
