Redemption of Souls

Today, let us take a moment to pause in our spot of the world, which often feels like turmoil is all it knows. It seems like threats are robbing the human of humanity and have become a drought of dehydrated compassion and widespread famine of tortured fruitfulness. We can no longer remain complicit in watching chaos, corruption, and darkness trying to dominate our world.

Wake up because backward thinking is not only unacceptable but dangerous and deadly. I believe we have redeeming qualities left, we simply have to mobilize those qualities.

  1. The problem is that every person thinks their view is the right one. It’s hard to fight chaos, darkness, and corruption when the people involved see nothing wrong with it. But, I hear ya, Kym! What we are going through right now as a society is not sustainable. Have a wonderful day, in spite of everything else!

  4. AMEN Dawn. I remember when you could sit down and have a decent conversation with people who may have differing opinions than you do, and not have them pull out a weapon to attack you with. Nope, our society in this current moment, as much as we hate it, is scary and divisive. πŸ˜₯ Hopefully more positive people will stand up and make more noise than the distractions and the distractors. Thanks so much for chiming in my friend. πŸ€—πŸ¦‹πŸ˜Š

  5. Awwww, thank you Michele my Belle. πŸ™πŸΌ You are so right about waking up and to think that this song was released in 1975, and still carries the same message today as it did back then. Society really has to get it together, but we have to come together first. Right??? πŸ€”πŸ˜²πŸ˜Š

  8. Amazingly inspiring, dear Kym. I agree with you that hope is not lost. Every time we take an action to disrupt the status quo in favor of equity and justice, we water already fertile seeds of a new social structure. It may take years to see all of our seeds turn into fruit bearing trees, yet our dreams continue on inside of the connections we make, and the hope we create. Love this one, my kindred! πŸ₯°πŸ’œπŸŒΉπŸ’–πŸ‚πŸŒ»πŸ€—πŸ˜˜πŸ¦‹πŸ’ž

  9. Oh Jeff my kindred you are so wisely spot-on! I especially love this, “we water already fertile seeds of a new social structure.” You nailed it my friend. The more we continue to fight for justice and the pursuit of happiness, and disrupt the status quo as you noted it, maybe we will see the necessary changes before we leave this earth. Meanwhile we continue to keep fighting the good fight my friend! πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯°βœ¨πŸ€—πŸ₯‚πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–πŸ˜˜πŸ¦‹

  11. People have become way too selfish in their opinions, in their defence of their opinions, and in their actions. I don’t remember that one, but what a fabulous song. They should re-release it. It is so relevant. Thank you for yet another wonderful post of inspiration Kym. xx
