This weekend fathers, sons, brothers, uncles, nephews, grandfathers, men-in-laws, and friends will be basking in the celebration of Father’s Day. This holiday honors one’s father, as well as, fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. We even acknowledge the mothers and women who perform the paternal duties for children without a father figure.
So celebrate the attention you will get for the excellent role models that you have become. Fathers play such a vital role in strengthening the lives of those who look to them for guidance and wisdom. And to our fathers who are no longer with us, we remember you with gratitude and a loving heart!

Nice post, Kym. Fathers are important in different ways than mothers. Women often go into male-dominated fields if they had influential fathers.
